Those first few weeks are sleep depriving and patience testing–yet full of love and excitement for your new little person. Newborns are so special, and I love capturing this fleeting moment. It really does go by in a blink.

Afterwards, I go home and back up all of the photos in multiple places. From there, I sort and hand-edit the best photos. You can expect your final gallery in about three weeks. From your private gallery, you will be able to download digital files as well as shop for prints and albums if desired.

AFTER YOUR SESSION

Time to enjoy! I'll take care of making sure everyone looks good. I'll gently guide you through poses that will make you feel comfortable and beautiful. I know how uncomfortable it can be to have a stranger come to your home just days after you've given birth, and I will make it as easy as possible for you.

We spend about half of the session capturing solo shots of baby, and the other half with the whole family–siblings and pets are more than welcome!

DURING YOUR SESSION

The ideal time to take newborn photos is between 8-12 days after birth. Of course, we can get some beautiful shots outside that window, too! To book your session, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required. Since babies are unpredictable, we will plan your session around your due date, and then fine tune from there.

Shortly after booking your session, you will receive a style guide with recommendations on outfits, as well as tips for preparing for your session. I am available via phone, text, or video call to go over any questions you may have.
